Dakar rally:

Volvo C303 has participated 3 times in PARIS-DAKAR Rally 1982, 1986 and 1989.

1983: The C303 constructors,  Hasse Henriksson and Börje Roswall, drove, and this time Volvo C303 won in its category.

1986: Again driven by the 2 Swedish constructors; they had a Greek co-driver, Athanase Papdimitriou. Won second place in its category.

1989: A Danish/Swedish team drives. Ivan Reedtz-Thott runs the car (It is the baron on water ski after The Great Belt ferry). Navigator is Michael Sandager Jeppesen, and Claes Blomqvist is the team´ s mechanic. They carried out the race as nr. 97 out of 102.

2003: Now Claes Blomqvist and Ivan REEDTZ-THOTT wanted to drive again
